Samantha Deras is a Senior at South Windsor High School who is returning as a second year writer and a first time editor for The Bobcat Prowl this year. Being a lover of all types of media, Deras is a cinephile and reader. She is a passionate, organized, and creative person, including in the way she writes which is an amazing asset to The Prowl. When asked to describe what journalistic assets she brings to prowl, the analytical creative spoke on her hardworking skills. Deras is excited to finish off her High School career writing important stories for her community and having students' voices heard as she hopes to pursue a career in journalism.
