The festival is home to a handful of fun activities including a petting zoo, train rides, face paintings, a craft fair, tractor and hay rides, and a bouncy house.
Along with the many fun activities, there will also be a variety of delicious food to choose from.
Food trucks that will be present at this years festival are:
- Chicken Wings By Wayne
- CT Valley Brewery
- Tots, Brats & Hots
- Pulled Pork & Mac n Cheese
- Villa of Lebanon
- Wooster Street Pizza
- Vinci’s Fried Dough and French Fries
But what would a strawberry festival be without strawberry dessert and beverages?
The festival is known for providing the BEST strawberry short cake, and if you are a little strawberry crazy after your shortcake, make sure to grab a nice cold glass of strawberry soda. If you are looking to mix up the flavor of your beverage, you can always grab a cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade.
But again, what would a festival be without music and entertainment? The festival has a stacked lineup of entertainers taking the stage at this year’s Strawberry Festival:
- Savage Brothers, 1:00pm-4:40pm
- National Champions, Level Up Dance Studio, 10:30am-11:15am
- East Celebrity Elite Cheerleaders, 12:15pm-1:00pm AND 3:30pm-4:00pm
- SRL Irish Step Dancers, 11:15am-12:00pm
One of the most popular events at the festival is the famous “Little Miss Strawberry Pageant”. This is a non-competitive event that brings out the creative flair of children and moms alike. This is a chance for young girls to show off their strawberry themed outfits!
Here is the lineup for the Little Miss Strawberry Pageant:
- 9:00am–Baby Miss Strawberry, Birth to 12 Months Old
- 9:20am–Tiny Miss Strawberry, 12 to 24 Months Old
- 9:40am–Little Miss Strawberry, 2 to 4 Years Old
- 10:00am–Miss Strawberry, 5 to 6 Years Old
The festival also holds a craft show with vendors coming from all over to showcase their goods.

Great article and thanks for including the Strawberry Fest in the SWHS Bobcat Prowl this year. We hope to see many of our SWHS students at the event.
