To the Valued Readers of The Bobcat Prowl,

We are proud to announce some changes to The Prowl as well as a national award we won. 

The American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) named The Bobcat Prowl as a First Place winner of the 2022 Scholastic Newspaper Award. We’d like to thank our readers for making this award possible, because after all a newspaper is only as good as it’s readers. 

Additionally, The Prowl has undergone several changes since September under the new directorate of Max Schwartzman. These changes include:

• A redesign of the website, incorporating a more modern and diplomatic look to the website.
• The creation of advertising space and the rollout of ads on our site.
• A new email for building connections. 
• The creation of The Bobcat Den for editorials, letters to the editors, and guest articles. 
• The incorporation of our social media accounts into the website.
• The creation of a new mobile app, making following The Prowl even easier. 

Again, we’d like to thank you for reading The Bobcat Prowl and we’re excited to continue being your student newspaper.
