As many know, the popular couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have split. Throughout their marriage, Kanye struggled with his mental health and dealt with bipolar disorder, causing many complications in their relationships. 

The couple’s divorce is still in the process, and they have both been seeing other people. Kanye did not mind this at all, Kim could date other men and he could date other women. However, Kim’s most recent boyfriend has been a big problem for Kanye. 

Pop Culture writer, Karla Rodriguez reveals, “West has been linked to multiple women in the past year, including Julia Fox, but that hasn’t stopped him from targeting Kardashian’s new man on social media and through his music.” 

SNL star, comedian, actor and writer Pete Davidson is Kim Kardashian’s new man as of October 2021. When their relationship was revealed, Kanye did not take any time before bashing the new couple on the Internet. 

Kanye is known for using Twitter and Instagram to go on extensive, unneeded rants for his millions of followers. For example, after South Park aired an episode with him in it, he wrote “I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF “I TOLD YOU SO!!!” IT’S COOL TO TALK S**T WHEN YOU’RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE.”

After seeing his now ex-wife with Davidson who he has had a problematic past with, he took his social media rants to a new unnecessary level. 

Clearly unbothered in response to one of Kanye’s posts, Davidson says, “Kanye, I know you’re like, ‘Yo, this is the real me, I’m off the meds.’ Take ‘em! There’s no shame in the medicine game! I’m on ‘em – take ‘em! If I ever got on a plane and the pilot said, ‘I just want you all to know this is the real me flying,’ I’d want to jump out!”

Pete knows that Kanye struggles with a couple different mental health disorders, so he knows his posts are usually extreme. From Davidson’s few responses, it is evident that he does not usually get bothered by Ye’s obnoxious spams on Instagram and Twitter.

However, from January to late February 2022, Ye started to get a bit more of a reaction from Davidson. He started referring to Davidson as “Skete” for all of his followers to join in on the harassment without using his actual name, to avoid any legal ramifications. After weeks of this, Pete Davidson’s instagram account was deactivated. Of course, Kanye had to bring attention to it. 

Ye’s post included a screenshot of Davidson’s deactivated instagram account with the caption, “Ran Skete off the gram Tell your mother I changed your name for life.” The real reason for the deactivation of Pete’s account is still unknown.

As usual, Kanye’s posts have started to die down after the deactivation which he believes is the result of his actions. Due to his rants being taken far enough for him to get banned from multiple award shows, it is predicted that there will be more social media drama from Ye soon.
