“My senior track season has been a lot of fun getting to enjoy track and making the most out of my last year,”Madelyn Cunha said. “So far, my accomplishments this season is getting back to the place I was last season after having surgery on my shoulder and missing my indoor season, as well as placing for the first time at an invitational.”
The team heads to the CCC meet, being bittersweet for some of the seniors as it is their last chance to run alongside the team.
“I was very happy with how senior night went,” senior Izabella McKenna said. “I was honored and proud to walk alongside my dad while my teammates cheered for me. I was also very happy that my dad saw me do well at the meet during my event. This season has meant a lot to me so far; it’s the last time I will be wearing my track spikes, and the last time I am surrounded by my teammates and friends. I’m going to miss them all.”
A special thanks to all the seniors on the team you will be missed.
