A Look Into the Life of Post Malone

Austin Richard Post, most known as his professional stage name Post Malone, is an incredibly talented rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist. He first gained some major recognition in August of 2015, with the release of his single “White Iverson,” which was included in his debut studio album Stoney later in December of 2016. His single “Congratulations” featuring Quavo peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.
Some of Post Malone’s most notable songs include: “I Fall Apart”, “Congratulations”, “Go Flex”, “White Iverson”, “No Option”, “Candy Paint”, and of course “Rockstar.”
In High School, at the young age of only 16, Post created his first ever mixtape called Young and After Them Riches, using the audio editing software Audacity. His Senior year, he was voted “Most Likely to Become Famous” in the yearbook by his classmates at Grapevine High School which is located in Grapevine, Texas.
In August of 2015, Post signed a recording contract with Republic Records, and even performed at Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday party, where he met Kanye West. This lead to Kanye collaborating with Post on his single “Fade” from his album The Life of Pablo that was released on February 14, 2016. Additionally, Post became great friends with Justin Bieber, leading him to being an opening act for him on his Purpose World Tour which was from March 9th of 2016 until July 2nd of 2017.
On May 12, 2016, Post released his first full-length project, which was his mixtape August 26, which included his hit “Go Flex.”
Post is still on a roll with his fantastic music. He released his single “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage on September 15, 2017 which is still a hit today and is played constantly on the radio. Additionally, he just recently released another single, “Psycho,” which features Ty Dolla $ign, and is currently number 3 on Itunes Top Charts.
Post Malone has also just announced that he is going on tour, which is some very exciting news for his fans. His tour starts on April 26th in Portland, Oregon, and ends on June 24th, in San Francisco, California. Joining him on tour is another very famous rapper, 21 Savage, who featured on Post’s song “Rockstar,” along with two other artists, Sobxrbe and Paris.
