Get ready to deck the halls and light up the night! The annual South Windsor Holiday Lights Tour Contest is back and residents have the opportunity to display their festive decor to win cash and prizes.
Registration began back on August 14th, starting sharply at 8:00 am and ended on December 10th. Registration was free to participate in the contest, but space was limited to just 25 participants.
South Windsor Parks and Recreation Department will be judging this contest on Thursday, December 12th at 6:00pm and the winners will be announced on Monday, December 16th on the SW Parks and Rec Website.
SWPRD is offering $100 prizes in three categories:
- Rudolf’s Shiny Nose (Display as bright as his nose),
- Buddy the Elf (Most holiday cheer),
- Clark Griswold (Over the top display)
Homes will be available for viewing starting on December 12th on the Parks and Rec website and there is also a map of participating homes available on the website.
