On November 7th and 8th, AP Gov students in Mrs. McGinn’s class did a second round of political debates. Student primary debates are over and political party leaders have just selected their nominees to move towards the general election. They debate their difference on ideologies on certain issues within their political parties.

Will Castelhano, Staff Writer
Will Castelhano is a senior at South Windsor High School and looks forward to being a part of The Bobcat Prowl. He is a lacrosse captain, and is also a part of the football team. In his free time, you can catch him playing rec basketball or hanging out with his friends, family, or watching sports. He is also an employee at the local South Windsor Dairy Queen.

Adam Saada is a senior at South Windsor High School and this is his first year on The Bobcat Prowl staff. He is a football captain on the varsity team, and plans to continue his athletic career after high school. He is also the class secretary for the class of 2025, where he is returning for his third year in the role.

Adam Albaghdadi is a senior at South Windsor High School. Albaghdadi is the Social Media Editor for The Bobcat Prowl. He oversees all The Prowls social media content, along with helping other staff writers with their articles. He also plays varsity football and lacrosse for SWHS. Albaghdadi enjoys spending time with family and friends, and can be found at football and LAX games.
Shafia Javaid, Staff Writer
Shafia Javaid is a senior at South Windsor High School and a staff writer for The Bobcat Prowl. She has always enjoyed English class and looks forward to discovering if Journalism is a career worth majoring in. Shafia enjoys spending time with her younger sister in her free time, working out, and watching Formula One.
Eliza Blanchfield, Editor-in-Chief
Eliza Blanchfield is the Editor-in-Chief of South Windsor High School’s award-winning newspaper, The Bobcat Prowl. During her junior year Eliza is determined to maintain a high quality news site while teaching her writers the art of journalism. Outside of journalism, Eliza is committed to serving others and creating connections within the community. She holds leadership positions at the Unified for Underprivilaged Girls club and Dignity Grows non-profit organization. After high school, Eliza wishes to attend college and pursue a career involving journalism.
