Jane Carty, Staff Writer
Jane Carty is a sophomore at South Windsor High School and this is her first year writing for The Bobcat Prowl. She runs for the girls cross country team in the fall, and is a part of the student government. In her free time Jane enjoys dancing, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
Ore Akinsola, Staff Writer
Ore Akinsola is a freshman at South Windsor High School. She is a writer for The Bobcat Prowl, and is very excited to be part of the team. Her favorite subject is social studies and in her free time she likes to draw.
Mia Ruiz, Social Media Editor
Mia Ruiz is a Social Media Editor for The Bobcat Prowl. She manages the paper’s social media platforms as well as assists staff writers with their assigned pieces. By joining the student paper, she hopes to communicate important topics such as sports and school events to her peers, while also improving her writing skills. When she is not writing for The Prowl, you can find her playing for the South Windsor girl’s soccer and basketball teams. Besides participating in numerous physical activities, Mia also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Lilliana Girouard, Staff Writer
Lilliana Girouard is a sophomore at South Windsor High School. This will be her second year in journalism. She’s excited to continue writing for The Bobcat Prowl. She’s on the swim team at the high school and swims outside of school as well. In her free time she likes to read, spend time with friends, and attend other swim meets to time the swimmers.
Eli Schwartzman, Multimedia Editor
Eli Schwartzman is a third year journalism student at South Windsor High School and is entering his junior year. He is the Multimedia Editor for The Bobcat Prowl. He oversees all the video content for The Prowl. Schwartzman loves sports, both playing and watching. He plans to cover many different sports games this year and write about them. When he’s not in the classroom, you can find Eli taking pictures at a sports game, spending time with his friends, or with his four dogs. Last year, his article, “The King of Hearts”, won a Best of SNO award, as well as finishing fourth in the NSPA sports article division.
