Game one and two are over of the World Series with the Red Sox up 2-0 in the series against the Dodgers. The Red Sox coming off of a huge series win over the Houston Astros with a 4-1 record in the series to win the American League Championship. The LA Dodgers also secured their spot into the World Series with a win over the Astros. When asked about his thoughts on who’s going to win in the end,Nick Santini said, “ The Boston Red Sox because overall, I think they have a better hitting team and all there averages combined are better than the Dodgers and their bullpens are just about even and the Red Sox also had a better winning percentage in the postseason.” His thoughts are agreed with by many other Boston fans as they hope to see the Red Sox in the lead at the end of the World Series. The Red Sox are definitely big competition against the Dodgers in their position with having a 2-0 lead in the series so far. The Dodgers will be having to bring their A-game to Boston to try to repeat what they did last year against the Astros. The Dodgers have had a great season with the new add-on of Manny Machado at shortstop. He has been making some nice plays so far with three RBI’s (Runs batted in) in game one and a score himself in game two. The Dodgers weren’t able to keep Boston from scoring in game one in the bottom of the 7th when Núñez hit a 3 run home run to make it 8-4 to win game one. Boston’s hitting power also kept them in the lead again in game two with a win over the Dodgers 4-2. Boston will be looking to keep their motivation up for going on the road away in the west.
